New Clients seeking to join the mat classes are encouraged to start with Private one-on-one lessons to learn the exercises prior to starting a class. During the Private one-on-one lessons your highly trained instructor will work with you to develop an individualized program to suit your body's needs. Private, semi-private lessons and reformer classes run for 50-55 minutes.  Mat classes run for 40-45 minutes.

Dress in comfortable clothing, socks are optional, and towels are provided should you need one. Grip socks are also available at the office for purchase.

Private Lesson: A one on one lesson done with a certified instructor who will consistently tailor the lesson to your personal needs. This requires you start on the Reformer then move onto the Mat work and finally onto other pieces of equipment also suitable to your needs.

Semi Private: A lesson done with a partner at a similar fitness level. We suggest that clients have a private booked lesson initially, allowing the instructor to be more familiar with your body. If you are looking for a partner the studio can try an arrange one for you.

Solo: A solo lesson is unattended. Our more advanced clients are welcome to do a workout on their own so long as studio is being attended by a certified instructor. The studio director must approve these lessons. The studio reserves the right to ask you to workout at another time if studio is at full capacity.

Group Lesson: Lessons done in groups of 3 or more. This studio advises that each client attend a private lesson prior to attending a class.

Private with Cynthia Lochard: A lesson done one on one with a Grand Master Teacher Trainer of Romana's Pilates and The Pilates Method Studio.

CLASSES

Basic Mat Class: This class is designed for the beginner and it focus is on establishing a strong basic foundation for the fundamentals of the Pilates Method. These classes focus on establishing a connection between the powerhouse and the rest of the body.

Intermediate Mat Class: Is designed to further develop core strength and flexibility. These classes are suggested for clients who have completed a good understanding of the basic principles and fundamentals of the Pilates Method at and are looking to take their knowledge further.

Advanced Mat Class: Is a very challenging mat focused on those intent on increasing their endurance and cardiovascular performance. This is a very challenging mat class providing rigorous body conditioning.

Mat Blast Class: An invigorating mat class targeting pace and precision. You will need to have a spontaneous soul and be ready for a blast of hard work.

Reformer Classes: This class is for groups of 3 or more catering to the tight economy. It is however strongly advised that all those attending these classes initially do a private lesson in order to best understand what they need to focus on while working in a larger group.

 

STUDIO POLICY

Wear comfortable clothing and socks and bring your towel!

All cancellations must be mad e at least 24 hours in advance

Clients will otherwise be charged at the full rate for that lesson
